Major General Mohd Hossain Al Morshed, ndc, afwc, psc was commissioned with 26^th BMA Long Course on 09 June 1992 in the Corps of Infantry. 

During his illustrious military career, Major General Morshed has served in various command, staff and instructional appointments. He served as Platoon Commander, Adjutant and Term Commander at Bangladesh Military Academy and as Directing Staff in both Weapon Wing and Special Warfare Wing at the School of Infantry and Tactics (SI&T). He also served as Senior Directing Staff at the National Defence College. He served as Brigade Major of Headquarters 203 Infantry Brigade (Khagrachari Region) and as Colonel Staff at Headquarters 66 Infantry Division and Armed Forces Division. 

Currently, Major General Morshed is serving as the Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army at Army Headquarters. Prior to this, he was the General Officer Commanding of 19 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Ghatail Area. He also commanded 81 Infantry Brigade, 21 Infantry Brigade, 15 East Bengal (Zone Commander, Khagrachhari Zone) and 1 Para Commando Battalion. 

Major General Morshed has successfully completed different professional military courses both at home and abroad with distinction. He is a graduate of the Defence Services Command and Staff College and the National Defence College. He successfully completed the Combat Survival Course in Malaysia, Operation Training on ATGM RAT-8 in China and the National Defence Course-27 in Nigeria. 

Major General Morshed completed his UN Missions as a Pl Comd of BANBAT-4 in Sierra Leone and as Chief of Staff (COS) of the Western Brigade (Multinational) in DR Congo under MONUSCO. He also performed as a Military Planning Officer (P-4) at the United Nations Office to the African Union (UNOAU) in Ethiopia. Major General Morshed has keen interest in travelling and reading. He is married and a proud father of two sons.

Brigadier General Md Shahadat Sikder, BGBMS, BGOM ndc, afwc, psc was born on 01 November 1974 in a reputed Muslim family in Rangpur. He was commissioned with 33 BMA Long Course on 29 November 1995 in the Corps of Infantry. He attended a number of professional course both at home and abroad. He assumed his appointment as Director, Personnel Administration Directorate on 19 September 2025. In his career, he commanded different units and Brigade Headquarters of Bangladesh Army. As a staff, he served in various Headquarters including Army Headquarters. He served as instructor in Bangladesh Military Academy and School of Infantry and Tactics. 

The Officer has attained Staff Course (psc) from Defence Service Command & Staff College, Mirpur and Battalion Commander Course, Nanzing Army Command College, China. He has also accomplished his Armed Forces War Annual Report 2025 Course (afwc) and National Defence Course (ndc) from National Defence College, Mirpur. 

He obtained his graduation from National University. He obtained MBA from IBA, Dhaka University and MDS from National University. He has also achieved LLB from National University. 

Brigadier General Shahadat has participated in two United Nation’s (UN) Missions namely UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) in 2004-05 as Operations Officer and UN Mission in Sudan (UNAMID) in 2011-12 as Staff Officer, Force Headquarters. 

Brigadier General Md Shahadat Sikder, BGBMS, BGOM, ndc, afwc, psc is interested in travelling and reading books in his leisure time. He is happily married with Rawson Ara Flora and blessed with a son, S M Fuad Sakib and a daughter, Samiha Shanum.

Brigadier General Md Rashidul Islam, SUP, ndu, afwc, psc, M Phil was commissioned in Bangladesh Army in 1996 in the Corps of Infantry. 

In his long illustrious career, he commanded an infantry battalion and the infantry brigade. He hold various important staff appointments at various tiers of Infantry Divisions, Army Headquarters and Armed Forces Division. As UN Peacekeeper, he served in DR Congo and Mali. 

Brigadier General Rashid is a graduate from Defence Services Command and Staff College, Bangladesh and National Defence University, China. 

The officer has Master’s Degrees in Defence Studies and English Literature. He also holds an M Phil. 

Presently he is serving as the Director of Welfare and Rehabilitation Directorate at Army Headquarters.

Brigadier General Shams Mohammad Mamun, ndu, psc was born on July 1976 in a reputed muslim family in Chattogram. He passed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations from Cumilla Cadet College with 10th and 8th position respectively in the combined merit list. He was commissioned from Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) in 1996 with 35th BMA Long Course. He was the recipient of the coveted ‘Sword of Honour’ of his Course. He is a graduate from Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) in Mirpur and also from United States Army Command General and Staff College (CGSC) in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He attended ‘Strategic Management Course in Cranfield University at Defence Academy in United Kingdom, ‘Higher Defence Orientation Course in Combat College, India and National Defence University (NDU) Course in China. He also attended few specialized courses on Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), while serving as coordinator of Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC) in Armed Forces Division (AFD).
